At the National College of Ireland (NCI), this year’s Culture Night was a vibrant celebration of diversity, and our LIFE (Life in a Football Environment) programme was invited to take part. L.I.F.E. uses football to connect people from different backgrounds and demonstrates the powerful ability of sport to unite and uplift communities.
LIFE coordinators set up an area and hosted activities that invited students and guests to participate, as well as spoke to learners and guests about what the LIFE programme offers. It was a great opportunity to connect, share our mission, and celebrate the diverse, vibrant community we’re all a part of. The LIFE coordinators brought some of their gear to showcase to guests what software and tools they use.
What made this night special was the way LIFE promoted inclusion and teamwork—participants connected through their shared love for the sport, reflecting the diverse community at NCI.
